President and Leadership Chair

Responsible for managing the board  and Connect Pinellas’s efforts as a whole, as well as ensuring the organization is adhering to the expectations of a 501c3 nonprofit.

Vice President, Treasurer, and Volunteer & Admin Chair

Responsible for managing volunteers and for administrative tasks such as communications.

Secretary and Media Outreach Chair

Responsible for managing media relations. Collaborates with Events chair to promote events. Collaborates with Policy chair and Education chair to speak to media about the committee’s chosen advocacy projects. Collaborates with Social Media chair on campaigns.

Events Chair

Responsible for managing the committee’s chosen event as well as participation in smaller events. Collaborates with Funding chair on fundraising events. Collaborates with Social Media chair to promote events.

Policy Chair

Responsible for managing the committee’s chosen advocacy projects as well as informing the committee of recent projects and updates in policy that are happening in Pinellas County. Will also be a liaison or manage other liaisons to other local advocacy groups such as Activate St. Pete, the Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, CONA Transportation Committee, City of St. Pete Mayors BPAC, and Forward Pinellas BPAC.

Social Media Chair

Responsible for managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky) through daily engagement and the creation of social media content. Collaborates with Admin chair to schedule content for posting. Collaborates with Education chair to create content for social media. Collaborates with Events chair to promote events.

Education Outreach Chair

Responsible for managing the creation of educational materials for electronic and in-person distribution. Collaborates with Policy chair on materials to help educate the public on the committee’s chosen advocacy projects. Collaborates with Events chair on materials needed for events. Collaborates with Social Media chair to create content for social media.
