Connect Pinellas participated in St. Petersburg Bicycle Club’s annual Ride of Silence to draw attention to the tragic cycling deaths in Pinellas County last year. In addition to pushing for better cycling infrastructure, “A big initiative with Connect Pinellas this year is our Lifelong Rider Education Program… we are pushing out helmets, we are trying to give out 400 free helmets this year,” says Kristen Ehrlich, Connect Pinellas’ President.

Connect Pinellas will be out at St. Pete Pride’s Family Day at the Pier this year on June 7th giving out helmets. Find more information on our Events page.
