Connect Pinellas hosts its first Certified Helmet Fitter Training

John’s Hopkins” Safe Kids Suncoast trained volunteers from all across the county interested in bicycle safety. Trainees who completed the program are now able to participated in FDOT’s bike ped helmet program run by the University of Florida, where trainees can order and give out helmets for free at events. Hosting workshops for helmet fitter certification is just one way Connect Pinellas is working on making our county safer for cyclist. Learn about our Life Long Rider initiative.

Email us at info@connectpinellas.org if you are interested in giving out helmets at your next event.
